JOB DETAILS:
We are looking for a suitable candidate to take on the role of Knowledge Management Coordinator. The position will join the Strategic Information & Learning team, and play a vital role in the successful planning, development, and dissemination of project publications.

Your contribution
1. Lead the development of project-specific content publication plan that aligns with the strategic direction of the organization.
2. Facilitate project team members, subject matter experts, and external contributors to develop publication content. Including support to gather additional information for the development of informative and compelling publications.
3. Manage the review and approval process for publications ensuring that publications meet the compliance requirements for PSIU and donors.
4. Provide regular production of Knowledge management content and work closely with the communication department to disseminate the products.
5. Collaborate with the Learning & Innovations Coordinator and IT to establish and manage a centralized repository or library of publications, facilitating convenient access and retrieval for future reference.
6. Track publication performance metrics and prepare reports on the reach, impact, and feedback received for each publication.
7. Develop dynamic intervention ‘report cards’ tailored to the country context to ensure documents are ready for external audiences’ engagement and critical learning exchange.
8. In line with project level and PSI technical documentation guidelines, facilitate the development of technical publications (grey literature) reflecting project process and learning—publications that go beyond surface promotional publications, to critically examine technical strategy and its implementation.
9. Collaborate with the learning coordinator to implement a road map for identifying project evidence & translating it into internal and external opportunities for investment and coverage.

What are we looking for?
▪ A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as communications, journalism, or a related discipline is often preferred. A master's degree in a relevant field may be advantageous but is not always required.
▪ At least 3 years of experience in donor-funded organizations or projects, in the following:
o Learning and knowledge management roles, including technical writing, experience in the development of a variety of Knowledge Management Products
o Sexual and reproductive health-related roles, o Participatory and/or human-centered design o Qualitative and/or mixed methods research
▪ Demonstrated understanding of the complexities of public health programming in challenging operating environments.
▪ Proven expertise and competence in facilitation and team-based collaborative learning approaches ▪ Familiarity with the implementation of structured learning and improvement approaches, e.g.
USAID’s Collaboration, Learning, and Adaptation framework, DFID’s Adaptive Management approach, the Deming Cycle, continuous quality improvement, etc.

1. Excellent Communication Skills: You should be able to effectively convey ideas, provide clear instructions to contributors, and communicate with diverse stakeholders involved in the publication process.
2. Editorial and Proofreading Skills: Strong editing and proofreading skills are necessary to ensure that publications are error-free and well-polished. The coordinator should have a good command of grammar, punctuation, and style, format and be able to provide constructive feedback to improve content.
3. Creative critical thinker. You understand and value the importance of creating safe spaces for teams to ideate, reflect, and think ‘big’. You know how to ensure rigorous, evidence-based thinking is a part of this creative space so that products are both ambitious and technically sound.
4. Collaborative spark. You know how to foster teams’ enthusiasm and ability to work together to engage with learning and improve. You encourage the team’s desire to problem-solve, helping to apply global and local evidence as teams try new things, and advance toward shared goals for the project. You cultivate vibrant exchanges where diverse perspectives enrich outcomes.
5. A rigorous detective, and communicator. You are an experienced analyst and a thought leader. You know how to move from field observation to data capture, synthesis, and results, applying rubrics effectively to generate systematic findings from design and implementation experience. You know how to take these findings and develop compelling technical knowledge products.
6. Strategic Thinking: You possess strong strategic thinking abilities to align learning and innovation initiatives with project objectives. You should be able to identify opportunities, anticipate future needs, and develop long-term strategies that drive project success.
7. Creativity and Design Sense: While not always a requirement, having a creative mindset and basic design sense can be beneficial for coordinating visually appealing publications. Familiarity with design software or collaboration with graphic designers can help in creating engaging and professional-looking publications.
8. Continuous Learning and Improvement: A commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends, publication best practices, and emerging technologies are important for a publication coordinator. They should be proactive in seeking professional development opportunities to enhance their skills and knowledge in publishing and communication.
