Role Definition:
Make exact measurements and determine property boundaries. Provide data relevant to the shape, contour, gravitation, location, elevation, or dimension of land or land features.

Job Description:

• Prepare and maintain sketches, maps, reports, and legal descriptions of surveys in order to describe, certify, and assume liability for work performed.
• Verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites.
• Calculate heights, depths, relative positions, property lines, and other characteristics of terrain.
• Prepare or supervise preparation of all data, records, and documents related to surveys.
• Plan and conduct ground surveys designed to establish baselines, elevations, and other geodetic measurements.
• Coordinate findings with the work of engineering and architectural personnel, clients, and others concerned with projects.
• Adjust surveying instruments in order to maintain their accuracy.
• Establish fixed points for using geodetic and engineering instruments.
• Develop criteria for survey methods and procedures.
• Develop criteria for the design and modification of survey instruments.

Requirements

• An Honors Degree in Land Surveying or any other relevant degree;
• A minimum of 4 years’ experience of land surveying on a road project.
• Previous work experience with any Chinese company is an added advantage
• Excellent interpersonal, particularly staff/management relations;
• Computer literacy is a must.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
