JOB DETAILS:
Job title: Laboratory Technologist
Salary Scale: U 5
Reports: Senior Lab technologist
Purpose: Carry out specialised Lab analysis for disease diagnosis, treatment, Prevention, Prevention, Control and Research.

Key Functions
• Carrying out Lab Investigation and Submitting Reports to Senior Lab Technologist
• Collecting, Handling and Transporting Specimens to the Laboratory
• Preparing Specimen and regents according to the established procedures
• Liaising with Ward in the preparation of patients for Lab tests.
• Servicing and maintaining of lab Equipment to ensure functionality
• Participating in Research Activities
• Participating in quality assurance for lab Tests

Qualifications
• Must have a Diploma in Medical Lab Technology or its Equivalent from a recognised Institution
• Must be Registered and Licensed with Allied Professional council
