Job Title: Lead - Learning & Development
Reports to: Head of Human Resources
Job Summary:
The Lead- Learning and Development will spearhead the development, implementation and monitoring of staff Learning and development strategies/ initiatives with intent to enhance staff skills and competencies for efficient and effective performance.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement, and monitor Learning & development strategies or interventions that include behavioral, technical and leadership programs geared towards equipping staff with required skills and competencies
• Carry out skills capability assessments across the company to determine the current skills supply and skills demand
• Drive the implementation of learning and development programmes and initiatives based on skills demand and identified skills gaps
• Design and launch a skilling hub for the company
• Design tailored learning journeys and delivery plans for specific roles or group of employees
• Manage the logistical aspects of all learning interventions from sourcing of instructors/facilitators, to the actual delivery of learning programs
• Conduct induction sessions for new hires
• Evaluate and communicate the effectiveness of Learning & development interventions
• Drive a culture of continuous professional development
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
• A Bachelor's Degree in a Business-related field with a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Management from a reputable institution
• At least five years' experience in a learning and development role in a large business setting
• Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS)
• Knowledge of designing & implementing learning and development Programs Strong communication skills
• Strong communication skills
• Strong analytical skills to identify gaps, conduct analyses, and develop solutions
• Well-developed people skills with ability to influence others
• Ability to initiate new ideas and practices
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 60
Level of Education: Bachelor Degree
