Lecturer, Environmental Health Sciences

Description
To plan, organize and implement an appropriate instructional program in a learning environment that guides and encourages students of the Environmental Health Sciences to fully develop skills and fulfil their academic potential. The job holder will work as part of the team to ensure that the curriculum, as set by the Ministry of Education and Sports, is delivered at the set standards and that examination are conducted in line with the Uganda Allied Health Professionals Examinations body guidelines and procedures. The expected result is well natured students that demonstrate a high degree of professionalism and academic excellence.

Qualifications
Job Requirements:
• A Bachelors degree in Environmental Health Sciences.
• A post graduate Diploma or Degree in Medical Education and A Master’s Degree in Environmental Health Sciences or Public Health will be an added advantage.

Job related experience and knowledge:
The successful candidate must have a minimum of Minimum 1 years’ experience practical experience as a Tutor in Recognized Institution of Higher Learning or 3 years’ experience in a busy Public Health setting; Experience/knowledge relevant MOH/MOES guidelines and policies and ability to network and liaise with various partners is also desirable.
