JOB DETAILS:
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Lead the culinary team in making attractive and diverse menus.
• Managing staff and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and hygiene.
• Lead and inspire a team of kitchen staff including stewards, fostering their talent and encouraging their professional development
• Manage kitchen operations, including inventory and cost control.
• Supervise all food preparation, presentation, and quality standards.
• Work together with the lodge management to enhance guest experiences.
Minimum Requirements:
• Diploma/ Advanced Diploma in culinary arts from a reputable institution
• 5+ years of experience as Executive Chef / Head Chef or Chef de Cuisine in Luxury Safari Camp / Lodge
• In-depth knowledge of diverse cuisines and culinary techniques.
• Ability to create innovative dishes while adhering to quality standards.
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 60
Level of Education: Associate Degree
