The Adventist Development and Relief Agency ADRA Uganda is a Humanitarian Non-Governmental Organization ot the Seventh-day Adventist church that demonstrates God’s love and compassion. The organization works with people in poverty and distress to create just and positive change through empowering partnerships and responsible action. Currently the organization implements relief and development projects in West Nile, Acholi, Karamoja and South-western Uganda. ADRA Uganda wishes to recruit highly qualified, experienced and energetic Ugandan nationals, to occupy the vacant positions in an upcoming project due to start on 1st April 2017 as indicated below:

Project: REFUGEE EMERGENCY AID FOR LIFE (REAL) PROJECT
(Duty Station —Any of the Refugee Settlements in West Nile Region)

Logistic Assistant
Education: Minimum of Ordinary level certificate, a valid driving permit with Classes A and B; plus a certificate or diploma in motor vehicle mechanics / Procurement and Logistics / Fleet Management.

Experience and other requirements: At least 3 years‘ experience in a similar position with a reputable organization; a clean driving record; ability to stay and work in hardship areas such as refugee camps; a good team player with excellent communication skills; computer literacy. Knowledge of at least one of the major languages spoken in West Nile Region is an added advantage.
