Eskom Uganda Ltd (EUL) is one of the leading electricity generation companies in Uganda. The company was incorporated on 22nd November 2002 and commenced operations on 1st April 2003. Eskom Uganda Limited (EUL) is a subsidiary company of Eskom Enterprises (Proprietary) Limited - South Africa, the investment arm of Eskom Holdings Ltd; the leading electricity generation company in Africa. Eskom Uganda Limited Operates and maintains the Nalubaale and Kiira power stations in Jinja under a 20 years concession. The power plants are owned by Uganda Electricity Generation Company Limited. We provide reliable and sustainable hydropower for national development.
Position: MAINTENANCE MANAGER
Position/Task Grade: D3 report to the Technical Director
Area of specialization: To support Eskom Uganda (EUL) in achieving its vision of providing reliable electricity by providing asset care and maintenance solutions in a methodical, consistent, auditable, cost effective and optimized manner.

• Provide strategic guidance and business planning support to the Maintenance sections, I order to effectively maintain plant assets and improve outage performance procedures, standards, systems, tools and technologies.
• Manage the performance of direct reports by implementing effective talent and people Management strategies.
• Manage the department Finances within the budget

Minimum Requirements
Qualification(s):
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electricalor Electro-Mechanical or Control and Instrumentation.
• A Masters or Doctorate qualification in Business Administration, Business Management or other related leadership areas is an added advantage.
• Compulsory Professional registration reputable body: Registered as a professional Engineer.
