104.1 Power FM is Uganda's leading Christian, urban, youthful and contemporary radio station, with a global listenership reach of over 250,000 daily. Reaching an audience of 15-4O year olds, Power FM streams on both traditional FM radio and on the Internet. With a vision to positively transform the lives of the young people, Power FM is an on-air and events-driven station that has been in existence since 1998 under Watoto Church. Our mission is to drive cultural transformation through relevant content so as to bring communities to the knowledge and love of Christ. Power FM is committed to inspiring and influencing young people through exciting, innovative and wholesome entertainment and contemporary relevant programming and events.

QUALIFICATIONS
A Bachelor’s Degree in any Business related field. A Master’s degree in Business Administration or a Post Graduate qualification in Management will be an added Advantage.

EXPERIENCE
At least 7 years’ middle to senior management experience in a reputable organization especially in the areas of Sales & Marketing with proficiency in Planning, Analytical thinking, Coordinating, Budgeting, Monitoring & Evaluation, Communication and Organizing. The possession of experience in Mass Media Management or experience in working with a reputable Media House is an additional advantage

MAIN DUTIES

• Provides overall leadership to the implementation of the Power FM Strategic Plan. 
• Identifies and implements approaches that will extend the reach and impact of Power FM products, services and projects in line with the Strategic Plan 
• Ensures the existence of a robust governance framework, spearheading the development of standard operating procedures and manuals for the entity. 
• Ensures compliance with all Legal and Statutory requirements with regard to all aspects of running the station. 
• Enhances interaction between the Board and the Management of Power FM 
• Plans and manages finances for specific activities which support strategy development in line with set procedures and standards. 
• Develops and monitors the Power FM budget and ensures proper collection and management of revenue. 
• Works with the Human Resources team to attract develop and retain talented Human Resources within a functional organization structure 
• Provides effective line support for all staff managed in line with the PFM/Ministry brand and values 
• Actively works with the Human Resources team to identify opportunities for staff learning and development (attendance at training courses. self-directed learning and cross-team Working) and provides mentoring and coaching for members of the team as need arises 

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Extreme attention to detail 
• Ability to multi-task, a high standard of numeracy and budgeting skills 
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and work with people from different backgrounds
