Farm Africa is in the final year of implementation of a three-year project to Commercialise chilli production. The project is focused on creating a more competitive and profitable chilli value chain within Lira, northern Uganda to capitalise on growing international demand for varieties of Ugandan African Birds Eye (ABE) dried chillies.
We are working in partnership with aBi Development Ltd and the North East Chilli Producers Associate (NECPA) and will strengthen the technical capacity of NECPA and their extension team to support market-orientated chilli production across their entire area of operation.

We are looking for a Market Engagement Manager to play a key role in the Commercialising Chilli Production team. The Market Engagement Manager will be responsible for providing technical assistance to NECPA, helping them to organise 3,000 farmers to meet the demands of the export market for ABE chillies.
The Market Engagement manager will also work with stakeholders in the wider ABE chilli value chain to ensure the availability of affordable, high-quality inputs for ABE chilli farmers in Lira district.
