The International Trade Centre (ITC) is looking to hire 2 experienced "Branding and Marketing Experts" for a short-term assignment in Uganda (from October 2023).

Locally based consultants (2) sought in Uganda to accompany small companies (Cassava, oilseed, shea) through learning and application of principles of branding and marketing communications.
The consultants will look after a small portfolio of firms (around 5 / consultant) and accompany them during F2F training supported by ITC.

In the first phase (October to December 2023) the consultants will assist in the completion of branding strategies and develop guidelines which can be used to produce new visual and verbal materials (i.e., brand assets). Individual sessions, both face to face and remotely should be organised by the consultant.
In the second phase (Q1 2024 – to be confirmed) the consultants will help to produce and implement a social media exercise with each of the firms.

Candidates are sought with a background in marketing and communications - for instance in an agency, consulting role or product and brand management, with experience in digital communications and social media. You should have experience training and coaching small firms.

We are looking for English-speaking candidates (Swahili and Luganda are a plus), based in Uganda.
