JOB DETAILS:
PURPOSE
To provide curative and preventive health care services and contribute to programmatic activities within the HIV and HIV
Minimum Academic Qualifications
• Must have a Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Community Health from a recognized institution
• Must be registered and licensed with Allied Medical Professional Council Must have a valid annual practicing license
Key Duties and Responsibilities
• She will evaluate patients and refer them for specialized health care.
• S/he will provide health information to clients through health education
• She will ensure that the services are provided are of high quality patient-centered. resulting in excellent treatment outcomes.
• Actively lead or participate in quality improvement initiatives in the department Report requirement for medical services lacking way before stockouts to the Coordinator
• Liaises with other departments in the hospital for example the pharmacy and Laboratory to ensure comprehensive services are offered to clients.
• She will participate in the development and implementation of HIV/AIDS and TB Clinic work plans and provide technical support and mentoring to staff in the hospital and lower facilities in the region.
• She will lead some of the technical areas as assigned by the Head of ISS clinic.
• She will participate in outreach and community health programs, health data collection, data compilation and submission of periodic reports and site meetings Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
