Medical Laboratory Technologist

Job summary

Carrying out specialized Laboratory analysis for disease diagnosis, treatment, prevention, control and research
Provide effective technical and supervision of operations and staff in the Lab.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• A Bachelors Degree in Biomedical Laboratory Technology (BLT) or the equivalent from a recognized institution; computer literate; with comprehensive knowledge of procedures tor Laboratory diagnostics, informatics and management. Knowledge of implementing quality management system (SLIPTA/SLAMPTA) will be a competitive advantage
  
• At least 5 years‘ relevant working experience including managerial/administrative roles in a busy Medical Lab., with ability to work under minimum supervision
  
• Must be registered and licensed by the Allied Health Professionals Council
  
• A balanced, mature and dynamic person of at least 35 years.
