Job details:
Communication for Development Foundation Uganda ( CDFU ) is a non-governmental organization that provides Development Communication services aimed at influencing positive behaviors for the social development of men, women and children. CDFU is a partner on the USAID Regional Health Integration to Enhance Services in Eastern Uganda Activity (USAID/Uganda RHITES E).The activity will support the Government of Uganda (GOU) and key stakeholders to increase availability and utilization of high quality health services in 21 districts with attention to equity and underserved populations. All positions are located in Mbale except for one in Karamoja.

Position: Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning Officer
Commitment: Full time
Duty station: Kampala

Minimum Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics or Social Sciences: Sociology, Demography, Quantitative Economics, Development Studies or any related social science discipline, Good understanding of M& E as a management tool; Experience working on M&E for USAID programs desired, experience working on M&E for national-level behavior change communication programs required; Sound working knowledge and technical competences in research, monitoring and evaluation principles, methodologies, practices and proficiency with data analyses using recommended commuter packages: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), and demonstrated proficiency in using at least one data management software package, one quantitative software package, and one qualitative analysis software package.

Personal Specifications:
Have at least 5 years’ experience of data management experience. Good Communication and Interpersonal relationship skills. Have a good command of written and spoken English and willingness to work for long hours.
