CUAMM
In partnership with Embassy of Ireland, Doctors with Africa CUAMM is starting a health intervention in Karamoja titled: "Strengthening district health systems for improved access to and utilisation of quality RMNCAH services in Karamoja (2021 - 2023)." This intervention will scale up and/ or complement ongoing efforts in strengthening district health systems.
The project has the following outputs:
1. Improved capacity of DHMT for data driven, evidence-based analysis, prioritization, planning and monitoring of RMNCAH and HIV integrated services;
2. Improved capacity for collection, storage, distribution and use of safe blood and blood components in the promotion of MNCH;
3. Improved functionality of neonatal care units in three hospitals:
4. Improved health provider clinical competence and skills in delivering RMNCAH, GBV and HIV integrated services;
5. Improved adolescent health interventions including uptake of modern contraceptive among sexually active adolescent and prevention of teenage pregnancies;
6. Improved community based care and bi-directional community facility linkages for integrated RMNCAH and HIV services.
3. Monitoring, Evaluation Officers (1 position in Karamoja)
Function:
Oversee the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning function within the project. Ensure output and outcome level data are collected regularly and captured in a Project Progress Reports and is used to adopt action to emerging needs, prepare tracking templates to provide weekly, monthly and quarterly progress reports on agreed targets for project activities and results. Support data auditing and verification activities to assure internal consistency and validity of project activity monitoring data reported by all districts. Job Requirements: Required to have a bachelor of statistics or quantitative economics or related course in quantitative methods. Demonstrated experience in managing large data sets and building capacity of health staff on data management - entry, aggregation, analysis, reporting and use.
