JOB DETAILS:
Compuscan CRB Ltd (An Experian company) seeks to recruit a skilled, passionate and self-motivated individual to fill the role of National Sales Manager. The role requires strong leadership in management capabilities with an impeccable bias towards people management as well as sales, relationship management and business development. The job shall be based in Kampala with frequent travel up country. About the Role: Working with the in-country Managing Director and the group product development and sales team, the National Sales Manager (NSM) shall specifically be responsible for retention of existing business and development and implementation of strategies for business growth. The NSM shall have a duty to oversee the effectiveness and management of the Account Management activities in addition to driving sales growth at Compuscan CRB Ltd. The National Sales Manager shall report to the Managing Director. .

Key Responsibilities/Outputs:
The National Sales Manager is responsible for:
• Developing and implementation of a sales & business growth strategy for Compuscan CRB Ltd.
• Growing revenue from existing business and develop new revenue streams.
• Overseeing of all field-based activities to ensure client satisfaction and understanding of the CRB and FCS system operations.
• Ensuring that the Accounts Management & sales department is run effectively within Budget while creating maximum value for the company.
• Working with management to ensure that the right products are developed for the Ugandan Market.
• Conducting Research & Development to meet changing customer needs.
• Create a pool of up to date data regarding the market and client needs.
• Collaborating with other managers and clients on specific company projects relating to sales and account management so as to delight our clients.
• Providing effective Leadership and management of the Account
Management and Sales team by coaching, mentoring and relevant department policies, plan and budget for departmental activities and manage staff performance.

Qualifications:
• 8 plus years' experience in a similar role 5 of which must be in sales/ marketing.
• Experience and knowledge of selling and marketing commercial business data solutions
• Good knowledge of business relationship management.
• Excellent Leadership & Management skills.
• Good presentation and communication skills.
• Energetic with strong business acumen
• High and demonstrable levels of honesty, integrity and professional behaviour at all times.
• Ability to work well independently or as part of a regional team,
• Excellent driving skills and ability to travel within the country and overseas.
• Professional team player that values diversity. Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor's degree in any of these fields; Information Technology, Business Computing and any other relevant business-related degree.
• Master's Degree or professional qualifications in Sales, Marketing and/or Business Administration will be an added advantage but not essential.
