JOB DETAILS:
City Ambulance is a highly specialized Emergency Medical Service (EMS) provider that offers prompt, professional and affordable, basic and advanced life support services. First incorporated in Uganda in 2012, the City Ambulance brand has expanded across the East African region with presence in Uganda and Tanzania. City Ambulance is inviting qualified candidates to apply for the following jobs.

3. Nurse / Paramedic / Clinical Officer

Qualifications and Skills
01. Bachelor of Science in Nursing / Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Community Health (2019).
02. State-qualified anesthetist nurses (ADE), State-qualified clinical officers, specialized clinical officers, or paramedics.
03. 03.5 years experience in an Emergency (or Intensive Care) department, and pre-hospital emergency medicine.
04. Experience on remote sites in Oil & Gas environment.
05. Capable to handle any life / death emergency on site according to the international standards in force (working under a protocol with the possibility of communicating any time with a physician).
06. BLS/ATLS/ACLS/PHTLS/ITLS qualification | Perfect knowledge.
07. Qualification in mar n management (IT/dashboard/ excel/word / team management)
08. Good communication skills (fluent in English is a minimum).
09. Ability to carry out routine primary health care including patient assessment, patient resuscitation, medical care, patient monitoring, ECG, immobilization, rapid laboratory tests.
10. Qualification in hygiene | Trainer in Basic first Aid and / or advanced first Aid.
11. Excellent communication skills.
12. Demonstrated capacity to work successfully in a small team with minimal supervision.
