JOB DETAILS:
Serenity Centre is a pioneer NGO registered under the NGO Statue 1989 with a mission to provide holistic services to the individuals, families and communities affected by substance use and related illnesses. From a humble beginning since August 2001, Serenity Centre has continued to otter a number of rehabilitation programs to individuals who struggle with Alcoholism, drug addiction (Heroin, Cocaine, and Marijuana,) prescribed medication and many related substances. In order to offer its services efficiently and effectively, the Centre seeks to recruit a suitably qualified person on full time basis for the vacant position below;
Occupational Therapist.

Responsibilities;
Facilitate and train clients in various occupational skills; Managing and accounting for resources allocated to the unit; Participating in outreach programs; Ensuring quality assurance in occupational services; Ensuring proper maintenance and functioning of all sports equipment; Managing and coordinating all occupational therapy programs and projects ensuring that clients participate in them; offer counselling to clients under rehabilitation; work closely with the Counselling team and prepare reports to the ED through the Clinical Coordinator; Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:
• Minimum of a Diploma in Occupational therapy from a recognized institution.
• Updated registration and annual practicing license with Allied Health Professionals‘ Council
• Good computer knowledge and documentation skills
• Basic Counseling skills and Knowledge in addiction management with at least one years’ working experience in the same or related field.
• Good leadership and management skill
