JOB TITLE: Organizational Development Advisor
DUTY STATION: Democratic Govemance Facility Management Unit (FMU) in Kampala
Main purpose of the job:
Reporting to the Corporate Capability Manager (COM), the Organizational Development Advisor (ODA) will work with the sphere and finance teams (Programme and Learning Managers (PLMs), Deputy Programme & Learning Managers (PLMs), Programme Managers (PMs), Head of Finance & Administration (HoFA), and Finance Managers (FMs) to assess, diagnose, plan, and implement organizational development interventions to improve implementing partners’ capacity to design, manage, and implement project interventions. The ODA will coordinate and facilitate implementation of FMU's partner Organizational Development initiatives..

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead technical direction /technical assistance in design and planning for capacity related initiatives for DGFs Implementing Partners (lPs).
• Develop/ reviewl redesign procedures linked to areas of capacity strengthening ot Implementing Partners (lPs) and determine the most effective way of providing support to partners.
• Work closely with the spheres, finance teams and Implementing Partners (lP’s) to ensure adequate capacity is built in both lP’s technical and organizational areas.
• ln collaboration with PMs analyse IP OD needs; identity performance gaps required to meet organizational development needs and propose appropriate OD interventions.
• Work closely with PMs to ensure a consistent approach to partners. Ensure PMs are aware of any interactions with Implementing partners.

Required Qualifications:
• A university degree in Social Sciences, Community Development, Organizational Development or other relevant field.
• Minimum of 5 years in managing or providing technical guidance to civil society organisations or capacity development programmes
• Experience in organizational capacity assessments and evaluations including developing and using OD tools..
