JOB DETAILS:

Purpose
Responsible for planning, teaching and assessment, of Learners using the Appropriate instructional materials according to the national Primary school curriculum of Uganda. The successful candidate will;
• Establish a conducive learning environment for the learners.
• Carry out curriculum review and prepare age graded instructional materials.
• Undertake an ongoing analysis of learning growth needs and foster appropriate values and competences
• Stay up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum.

Duties and responsibilities
• Develop and review syllabuses and other related plans for teaching. o Actively monitor and follow up progress of children in the subjectarea.
• Maintain p teaching of the subject.
• ability to bring up a wholesome child.

Required qualities:
• At least a Diploma in Primary Education or its equivalent A degree in primary Education or relevant qualification will be an added advantage.
• Teaching experience of not less than 2 years.
• Knowledge of the subject
• Able to communicate using English.
• Ability to understand and interpret the curriculum
• Possession of both analytical and critical thinking skill
• Must be Computer Literate.

NB: Teachers qualified and able train Music Dance and Drama, Sports, art and design, Swahili Languages, ICT are encouraged to apply
