JOB DETAILS:
Job Purpose:
Planning, coordinating, management and provision of technical guidance on procurement and disposal activities of the Corporation to ensure value for money.

Qualifications:
• Must have a Honors Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Business Administration, Commence or Economics [with a bias in procurement and Supplies Chain Management) from a recognised University, Plus Full Professional Qualification in Supply Chain Management.
• Must be a member of a recognised professional body in Supply Chain Management and Institute of Procurement professionals of Uganda (IPPU).
• Master's degree in supplies chain management, business administration or management discipline is an added advantage.

Experience and Competencies:
• At least Six (6) years of practical experience, three (3) of which should be of a senior procurement level in a Public or Reputable organisation.
• Must have a working knowledge of MS Word, Excel Powerpoint and procurement management software. Relevant Experience in Donor funded projects is an added advantage.
• Must have well deveveloped analytical and reporting skills
• Ability to cultivate team spirit in a specialised unit, lead and motivate qualified and pecialised staff is essential.
• Good understanding of the PPDA Act & Regulations and International Procurement Standards & Regulations. Ethics and integrity, communication and time
• management.
