JOB DETAILS:
Procurement Intern – Internship Paid
MAIN CAMPUS • Procurement

Qualifications and experience:
1. Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement and Logistics Management at least 2:1 from Uganda Christian University
2. Must have knowledge of working in a computerized environment i.e., use of MS excel, MS word, power point and internet
3. Must have good interpersonal skills especially when dealing with students, staff and visitors.
4. Must be a person of high integrity with excellent working ethic
5. Must be committed and practicing Christian

Key Duties and responsibilities:
1. Work with users for clear and detailed specifications
2. Stamping, scanning and capturing the received PRFs into Excel & MIS
3. Preparing Requests for Quotations (RFQ) according to specifications on the Procurement Requisition Form (PRF)
4. Prepare summaries of received quotations for users to recommend and confirm
5. Record keeping
6. Receive documents from stores
7. Attaching all relevant supporting documents to invoices for payment before they are checked
8. Deliver documents to user departments for RFFs.
9. Preparing the necessary reports
10. Any other duties that may be assigned by the supervisor
