As a Procurement Manager for a mechanical workshop, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement activities related to sourcing and purchasing mechanical equipment, parts, and supplies necessary for the workshop's operations. Your role will involve managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the timely availability of quality products at competitive prices. Additionally, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders, including workshop managers and technicians, to understand their requirements and develop effective procurement strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
• Procurement Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive procurement strategy aligned with the mechanical workshop's objectives, considering factors such as cost, quality, and delivery timelines.

• Cost Optimization: Analyze pricing trends, market conditions, and product specifications to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or service levels. Implement cost reduction initiatives, such as bulk purchasing, supplier consolidation, and value engineering.
• Quality Assurance: Work closely with the quality control team to ensure that purchased mechanical equipment, parts, and supplies meet the workshop's quality standards and specifications. Address any quality issues or non-compliance with vendors promptly.
• Contract Management: Manage and review contracts with vendors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions. Monitor contract performance, resolve disputes, and negotiate contract renewals or amendments as required.
• Budgeting and Reporting: Prepare and manage the procurement budget, tracking expenses, and providing regular reports to management on procurement activities, cost savings, vendor performance, and market trends.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with workshop managers, technicians, and other relevant stakeholders to understand their procurement requirements and provide guidance on sourcing options, product selection, and budget considerations.
• Stay Updated: Keep abreast of industry trends, new product developments, and market dynamics related to mechanical equipment, parts, and supplies. Continuously enhance knowledge and skills through professional development opportunities.

Qualifications and Skills:
