JOB DETAILS:
The school is locally looking for Human Resource in the following area of service.
Position: Procurement Officer
Type of Employment: One-year Contract (Renewable hosed on performance]
Reports to: Principal Kabale School of Nursing.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Manage all procurement activities of the institution.
• Advise the user department on the individual procurements.
• Check and prepare the statements of Requirements.
• Prepare advertisement of bid opportunities:
• Prepare contracts documents.
• Manage bid opening and closing in collaboration with the Contracts Committee.
• Maintain providers list.
• Ensure compliance with the provisions of the PPDA Act, Regulations, Guidelines and best practices.
• Carries out any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by Administration.

Person Specification
• Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management from a recognized institution
• Must have good communication and interpersonal skills:
• Must have minimum of two-year experience in Procurement and stores Management:
• Knowledge of financial management;
• Must be ICT literate and capable of using word processing
