Job Purpose:
The Morning Show Producer will oversee the production of live and pre-recorded morning programs. This role involves planning engaging content, coordinating production teams, and ensuring that programs meet editorial and audience expectations.

Main Responsibilities:
• Plan, script, and produce morning shows with a focus on timely, engaging, and audience-relevant content.
• Coordinate with presenters, editors, reporters, and technical teams to ensure smooth production and broadcast.
• Identify and book guests, contributors, and interviewees for segments.
• Oversee show rundowns, ensuring logical flow, time management, and seamless transitions.
• Monitor live broadcasts, addressing technical or editorial issues in real-time.
• Collaborate with digital teams to promote morning show content on social media platforms.
• Research and develop creative ideas to enhance show appeal and audience engagement.
• Ensure compliance with editorial policies, quality standards, and broadcasting regulations.

Qualifications and Experience:
• Academic: Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Media Production, or Communications.
• Professional: Certification in TV/Radio Production is an added advantage.
• Experience: 3–5 years of experience as a producer in live or studio productions.

Core Competencies:
• Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
• Strong editorial judgment and understanding of audience preferences.
• Proficiency in show scripting and creating engaging content.
• Ability to manage teams under high-pressure, live broadcast settings.
• Familiarity with production tools and software for TV/radio.
