CORPORATE COMMUNICATION & MARKETING DIVISION
Job Title: Product Development Specialist
Reports to: Product Development Manager

Role: To develop and refine the Bank's unique and differentiated products and services for both deposits and loans in line with the Bank's product development and innovation strategy for market competitiveness.
Grade/Rank :3

Key Result Areas
• Undertake the development of new/refined product and service concepts that are effective, differentiated and demand driven.
• Prepare product performance monitoring reports for the Bank's new and existing financial products and services and regularly participate in the Bank's
• Product Steering Committee meetings. Prepare/Coordinate the review of the Bank's product & services pack and make updates to take into account new additions relating to specific product and service features, benefits and requirements in line with the Division work plan.
• Conduct Product training and evaluation.
• Underwrite product concepts and prototypes using the 8Ps and Draft product refinement papers in line with the product development policy.
• Draft product proposals with costing & financial projections and submit for review.
• Write and manage the product implementation plan, revamp products and analyses product life cycle to assess and recommend products for extinction.
• Interpret research data results to determine new product market insights in crafting innovative solutions!
• Draft product briefs used in the communications for roll out and ensure kick off the pilots.
• Manage the implementation of new product development cycle end to end and monitor progress of their implementation.
