Action 4 Health Uganda (A4HU) is a youth empowerment organization dedicated to mainstream Young people’s engagement in Social economic Development and grooming Sexual and Reproductive A4HU was registered in October 2017 as a new entity To take over the operations of DSW (deutsche Sifting Weltbevoelkerung) in Uganda. For the past 18 years DSW has supported the Of a portfolio projects to improve sexual and reproductive health of young people in Uganda

We strive to empower young people for a healthy Future through capacity development programmes by Supporting youth empowerment centers (YECs) Youth clubs capacity development and organizational Management. This includes enhancement of leadership Group management, life skills and sexuality education, Action 4 Health operate mobile rural outreach services Using? It’s Youth Tack. which give access to information And raining to vulnerable young? People in hard-to-reach Areas and supporting the peered outreach events. Programmes Manager
Under the suspension of the Chief Executive Officer, The Programmes Manager will support progmmme-related Fundraising, _ project implementation, reporting and Capacity-building initiatives

Specific Responsibilities
The incumbent will be responsible for the following duties:

• Supervise the implementation of A4HU'S‘s diverse Project addressing poverty reduction, sexual Reproductive health and youth empowerment
  
• Ensure sound financial management and quarry project
  
• Ensure high quality and timely reports are submitted to
  
• promote and manage partnership with local and national government institutions National Government institutions
  
• Liaise with national and interactional stakeholders, Including donors and international NGOs;
  
• Seek funding to sustain and expand AAHU’S's project Portfolio
  
• Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Core Qualifications

• Masters degree in social science or relevant development field Development -A minimum of 7 years relevant experience in working with profit organization in a similar position of which 3 must be managed at managerial level
  
• Knowledge of Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights and Global health, Family Planning and global health (required)
  
• experience in the management of EU and USAID funded Grants
  
• Excellent Communication Skills in Spoken and written English
  
• Proof of successful grant application and implementation
  
• Strong analytical strategic thinking research and writting skills
  
• Ability to work independently and in a team
  
• Flexibility in responding to changing work priorities and tight deadlines
  
• Excellent problem solving and interpersonal skills - Strong IT skills (research applications, word Excel, internet, outlook, power point)
