JOB DETAILS:
This position is responsible for the Children of Grace (CoG) - Uganda programs preparations, delivery, monitoring and evaluation and reporting. It is located in Jinja, Uganda. .
Job Responsibilities:
Programs design, preparation and delivery (65%)
• Supported by Operations Director and working with the other staff, the Coordinator will:
• Take responsibility for effective design, preparation, implementation, management and monitoring of the Community empowerment program, Girls Can program, Holiday Bible School, Students Career Guidance Workshops and students’ camps.
• Support training of community ambassadors and staff in programme implementation, monitoring and reporting
• Supervise community ambassadors and staff during field work, including ensuring they have the capacity to deliver high quality program activities.
• Lead the development of annual programs operational plans, set SMART goals and results areas for all the programmes.
Programs Monitoring and reporting (15%)
• Oversee all M&E processes of the programs, including designing data collection and monitoring tools for the programs.
• Compile timely monthly program reports and submit to the Operations Director on all the running programs.
• Offer program delivery advise and feedback to the team.
Partnership development and management (15%)
• Build and maintain effective partnerships with all key stakeholders i.e. government, schools and other NGOs.
• Lead on partnership identification, joint events and activities to raise the profile of the programs and increase collaboration and coordination with other partners.
• Identify and cultivate opportunities to leverage additional support from other partners for purposes of improving our programs.
• Drive innovation in programs design and delivery.
Other responsibilities (5%)
• Other duties as required, including occasional work on weekends and public holidays for which time off in lieu can be taken in consultation with the Director of Operations.

• Significant experience in designing and delivery of children and community empowerment programs.
• Experience designing staff and trainers of trainees training programs.
• Excellent computer and typing skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power point.
• Ability to analyze problems and make sound operational decisions.
• Excellent organizational skills and methodological approach to program management.
• Attention to detail and strong project management skills.
• Ability to follow through on tasks with minimal supervision.
• Ability to be a team player and leader.
• Professional attitude and appearance.
• Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision.

Job Education Requirements:
• Preferred: Bachelors degree in Development studies, Education, Social work or related field.
• 4 years’ work experience in a busy NGO planning and managing high impact intensive programs.
• Great organizational skills and ability to work through others.
