POSITION: Programs Director UJL
Purpose:
Uganda junior League is a sports and educational division of Muscle group Ltd and it’s positioned for significant growth. UJL’s programs Director will be responsible for developing and executing a growth and plan to significantly increasing the membership and programs over the next 1 to 3years. UJL’s programs include: Academy Program, after school Programs, Home Area Club Programs, Social and Corporate Programs. Our Programs Director does just that– everyday, all day. He/she has the drive to lead, the passion for excellence, and the enthusiasm for team development that we need. In this Programs Director role:
• You’ll manage multiple areas with multiple priorities and multiples take holders–everyday

• You’ll love it Reporting directly to the CEO, this position will require a high-energy, results driven individual that is equipped to take on P&L responsibility for the Uganda Junior League (UJL), develop strategic business plans, and oversee performance and productivity of department personnel to achieve results.

The UJL Programs Director performs a wide range of duties including the following:
1. Plan the delivery of the overall programs or projects and their activities in accordance with the mission and the goals of the organization.
2. Managing and coordinating marketing campaignsfor UJL programs and activities to meet set targets.
3. Oversee programs and member ship growth, Recruit and supervise sub coordinators and Club Directors
4. Administer sponsorship implementation and Develop funding proposals. Generate revenues to finance UJL’s programs budgets
5. Providing administrative support to the UJL’s Chairman and Board of Directors.
6. Managing UJL’s budgets, Monitor all budgeted program expenditures and Monitor cash flow projections
7. Monitor the program or projects activities on a regular basis, provide reports and conduct an evaluation according to the UJL evaluation frame work.
8. Develop new initiatives to support the strategic direction of the organization and implement the new UJL strategic plan 2021–2023.
9. Oversee and administer all agreements and communications with partners
10. Acting as the liaison between the Clubs, associated clubs, Board of Directors, Coaches, Players and Families as the central point of contact for all UJL-related information.
11. Other tasks as necessary.

9. Plan: Determine strategies to move the organization forward, set goals, and create implementations plans, and evaluate the process and results.
10. Solve Problems: Assess problem situations to identify causes, gather and process relevant information, generate possible solutions, and make recommendations and/or resolve the problem.

EXPERIENCE
3 TO 5 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN A RELATED FIELD

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS
MUST HAVE ATLEAST A BACHELORS DEGREE IN ANY RELATED. Contract Period 2years, renewable.
