Youth Alive, the leader in innovative children, adolescents and youth integrated development programming since 1993, is a consortium partner on the USAID/Regional Health Integration to Enhance Services in East Central Uganda (USAID/ RHITES-EC) project led by University Research Co., LLC (URC). RHITES-EC is five-year project intended to support the implementation of a comprehensive, integrated investment in regional health, HIV/AIDS and nutrition assistance in 11 districts of East, Central Uganda. Youth Alive is inviting applications from interested candidates with the necessary qualifications and experience to fill the following positions:

Position: Project Accountant
Reports: Finance Manager
Vacancies: one (one) ,
Duty Station: Kampala

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare and input aggregations of weekly expenditures
  
• Prepare periodic project budgets
  
• Prepare source documents and file project accountabilities
  
• Prepare monthly project financial reports
  
• Prepare project financial analysis reports _
  
• Maintain the workflow management system
  
• Support the home office and field team to organize meetings, trainings and travels

PERSONAL SPECIFICATION

• Qualified with Bachelors of Commerce/Business (Finance) or its equivalent
  
• At least 2 years experience in similar work
  
• Acquired some level of professional certification-ACCA, CPA or financial management
  
• Experience in using the QuickBooks Accounting package is an added Advantage
