Job details:
The Ministry of Lands Housing and Urban Development (MoLHUD) has received funding from the World Bank to implement Albertine Region Sustainable Development Project (ARSDP)-Component 2
- Local Access, Planning and Development. This Project Component will finance physical planning and infrastructure development in Hoima District, Buliisa District and Buliisa Town Council.

The Ministry acquired new office premises on Plot 9, Yusuf Lule Road (Ground Floor) to house ARSDP and now seeks to acquire the services of an Administrative Assistant to provide general administration and support functions to PST staff under ARSDP.

Job Title 2: Project Driver
Repons to : Project Accounts Assistant and works closely with the PST member(s) to whom S/he is assigned to drive.

Duration of Contract: One year, subject to probation period of A six months, and Renewable upon satisfactory performance
Duty Station: Kampala with frequent travels upcountry.

Qualifications and Specifications.

• “O” Level Certificate with at least five passes (including a pass in English language as a must), plus a clean driving , Permit of Class “B”
• Possession of defensive driving certificate is an added § advantage
•  Basic knowledge in auto mechanics & maintenance is also an added advantage.
•  At least six years of working experience as a driver in reputable organization (s).
• Must have very sober habits
• Must have clean driving history ‘
• Self-motivated with demonstrated ability to work effectively with colleagues in a team environment and with stakeholders from different cultural backgrounds.
• Demonstrated skills in retrieving administrative information, organizing venues for functions.
• Sound organizational skills and ability to prioritize and , deliver assignments as required.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills, initiative, resourcefulness, effective time management, organizational skills and ability to handle confidential information
• Strong English language skills (verbal and written)
