JOB DETAILS:
Uganda Joint Christian Council received funding from Democratic Governance Facility (DGF) to implement a One and a half year project titled Scaling up Gender and Equity Budgeting in Local Government Structures in Lira and Amolatar district.
The project has two outcomes namely; a) Capacity of districts and sub counties to effectively implement the provisions of PFMA in planning and budgeting strengthened and b) District and sub county development plans and budgets are gender and equity responsive. UJCC is now inviting applications from qualified Ugandans of high integrity and professionalism to fill the following position;
Job Title: Project Driver
Reports: Head of Administration
Duty station: UJCC Head Office Block 15 Gogonya Bypass – Nsambya, Kampala
Duration of Initial Contract: One year and six months fixed contract.

Purpose of the Job: To provide secure and timely driving services to transport passengers and/or goods. Deliver payment transfers to the bank and/or the suppliers, assist with postage and with pick up of office purchases, including flight tickets and any other tasks required by Head of Administration or his/her substitutes. Act as a backup for the Receptionist and assist with meeting room rearrangement for various meetings/events.
