JOB PURPOSE:
To provide support in achieving the goals and objectives of the company through day to day supervision and monitoring of project activities and milestones and ensuring project deliverables.
KEY FUNCTIONS:
• Manage the day-to-day operations of assigned projects so that they are completed on time
• Work collaboratively with design engineers, sales and marketing, operations and production teams throughout the process of product development
• Ensure resource availability and allocation
• Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
• Provide general oversight and advisory support to top management for the running operations in relation to the project. Report and escalate to management as needed.
• Coordinate secondary project milestones such as registration, tax compliance, quality assurance, branding, insurance and waste management.
• Support the project through supervision of procurement and logistics functions to include sourcing of suppliers both international and local, negotiation, payments, customs clearance and on time delivery.
• Analysis and managing project risk
PERSON SPECIFICATIONS:
Qualifications
Candidate should hold a minimum of a Diploma in a Technical field. Experience in Project
Management is an added advantage. Candidate should be enthusiastic about technology.
Required Experience
Internships, practical or self-managed projects are an advantage.
