JOB DETAILS:
The Government of Uganda (GOU) has received a Grant from the Energy Sector Management Assistance Program (ESMAP), a multi-donor trust fund operated by the World Bank, towards the cost of the Uganda Clean Cooking Supply Chain Expansion Project (UCCSCEP).
The design of the project features the Distribution Challenge Fund (DCF) made up of specific grant lines of support each designed to elicit a market response in the clean cooking sector and help consortia consisting of Ugandan stove distributors as well as local and international stove manufacturers working to achieve the projected targets.
GOU has authorized the Private Sector Foundation Uganda (PSFU) to implement the Project. The PSFU is to engage a competent individual to provide consultancy services as a Project Officer (one position).
The Project Officer will support the broader operation and management of the UGCSCEP project but with special focus on supporting awareness and market activation activities and ensuring the smooth flow of information between the various participants in the DCF.
PSFU now invites eligible individuals to apply for the position. Interested individuals should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the services.
