JOB DETAILS:
Kulika Uganda (KU) whose mission is to inspire communities, households and individuals with self-confidence and provide skills and knowledge to harness their resources for lasting change economically and environmentally sustainable in their lives is currently implementing a project entitled "Improving livelihoods through employment opportunities for vulnerable youth from refugee and host communities in West Nile" with support from the German government (BMZ) through Malteser International.
The project uses the Creative Capacity Building (CCB) approach for co-creating solutions to challenges faced by refugee and host communities.
The interventions will be implemented in Rhinocamp and Imvepi refugee settlements in Terego and Madi - Okollo districts
Purpose of the Job
The Project Field Officer shall be responsible for assisting in the development of appropriate skills. technologies. product promotion and innovation for improving livelihoods of targeted individuals and communities. The officer will also support the development and
implementation of Kulika Uganda strategies for skills development income generation and livelihood improvement. He/she will plan. direct and coordinate these activities and ensure the growth of group business projects.

• Stakeholders Engagement, Networking and Collaboration
• Documentation, Reporting and knowledge management
• Training of beneficiaries on Basic business skills.
Job Specifications
• Bachelors degree in Business administration, Micro-finance, Enterprenuership or any other related
• course
• 3+ years work experience in project implementation and management within the NGO sector or a similar sector
• Experience in working with refugee and host communities
• Experience of project development and delivery within short timescales
• Willingness to work in rural areas
Work Hours: 8

Level of Education: Bachelor Degree
