The role
You will be responsible for meeting a monthly and annual sales target, by converting Promotional visitors/enquiries into confirmed sales, whilst maximising all opportunities.

Duties will include writing proposals, meeting clients, and show casing products, converting enquiries and co-ordinating all details relating to events.

You will work closely with the Production / sales team to deliver events and sales across multiple sites, and you will ensure, we manage our existing business to a top level as well as generating new business leads through proactive sales calls/marketing, presentations and trade shows.

You will be a very personable individual with excellent customer service delivery, be comfortable with both; ensuring we maximise revenue opportunities as well as truly understanding and responding to what our customer needs.

In addition to this you must be someone bright, enthusiastic with a proactive persona, who is able to deal with multiple tasks in a very "hands on" way. With a confident, professional and approachable nature; who can work to deadlines with a fantastic team spirit, whilst remaining calm and efficient.

Required

• Experience and knowledge of exhibition organising, promotion and sales
  
• Some formal qualifications HND, Degree, NVQ (in any discipline) will be advantageous, we’ll also consider applications from A’ level school leavers.
  
• Must be presentable
  
• Good command of English ( both Oral and Written), and fluent in Luganda, and Swahili
  
• Previous customer service experience ( preferably in the hospitality industry)
  
• Able to stay calm and deliver results under pressure
  
• Good team working skills
  
• With ambition, can do attitude and drive to succeed
  
• Ability to build and manage client accounts
