JOB DETAILS:
Moran (U) Publishers Ltd, a fast growing local educational publishing company, seeks to fill the position of Publishing Assistant.
The job holder operating from our office in Kampala shall play a key role in developing the teaching and learning materials for use at all levels of learning in Uganda and other parts of the world.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Take active role in research and development of company products as per the company vision and mission
• Prepare, implement and monitor publishing budgets.
• Work closely with the Publishing Manager to ensure projects are completed as scheduled and done to house standards.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
• A university graduate with a minimum bachelor's degree in Education.
• At least 2 years of teaching experience or one-year experience as an editor.
• English and literature teacher/editor will be most preferred
• Solid knowledge and understanding of the Education sector and book publishing process will be an added advantage
