JOB DETAILS:
Job Purpose:
The Radio Producer is responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of radio programs. This role ensures content is engaging, meets audience expectations, and aligns with the station's objectives.

Main Responsibilities:
• Plan, script, and produce live and pre-recorded radio shows, ensuring content flows smoothly.
• Work closely with presenters, technical teams, and contributors to create engaging programming.
• Oversee show rundowns, ensuring time management and seamless transitions between segments.
• Research topics, develop show ideas, and coordinate guest appearances for interviews and discussions.
• Manage studio equipment and ensure sound quality is maintained during broadcasts.
• Edit audio recordings and prepare pre-recorded shows for airing.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to integrate sponsorship messages, advertisements, and branded content.
• Monitor live broadcasts to troubleshoot technical issues and address on-air challenges.
• Analyze audience feedback and ratings to improve content quality and relevance.
• Stay up-to-date with trends in radio production, content creation, and emerging audio technologies.

Qualifications and Experience:
• Academic: Bachelor’s Degree in Media Production, Journalism, or Communications.
• Professional: Certification in Radio Production or Audio Editing is a plus.
• Experience: 2–4 years of experience in radio production or broadcast media.

Core Competencies:
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in audio recording and editing tools (e.g., Adobe Audition, Audacity).
• Strong understanding of radio programming and audience engagement.
• Ability to multitask in a live, fast-paced environment.
