Job Title: Registered Midwife/ incharge MCH (01 Vacancy)
Report: Medical officer
Duty location: Adjumani

Minimum Academic Qualification: Diploma in midwifery from a recognized institution
Skills and knowledge:
1. Knowledge of computer is a must. You must know basic computer software like Excel and Microsoft word.
2. You must be able to demonstrate innovativeness
3. Excellency in midwifery
4. You must demonstrate good communication skills
5. You must be able to demonstrate the best customer care services
6. Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards.
7. Knowledge of related accreditation and certification requirements.
8. Knowledge of midwifery theory, procedure and standards.
9. Ability to plan, implement, and evaluate individual patient care programs.
10. Ability to perform patient assessment and triage.
11. Ability to develop and present educational programs and/or workshops.
12. Knowledge of gynecological health issues and trends.
13. Ability to make administrative/procedural decisions and judgments.

b) Provides direct prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum and/or well women patient services and primary care to low-to-moderate risk obstetrical and gynecological patients.
c) Participates in the education of medical, midwifery, nursing students, clinical staff, peers and others.
d) Supervision and appraisal of subordinates
e) Provides information by collecting, analysing, and summarizing data and trends.
f) Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
g) Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading books and professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
h) Follow the rules and regulations professional regulative bodies
i) Any other assignment by the supervisors
