REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR PROVISION OF Eagle rig Transfer (RFP-CUL-LD-00703)

CNOOC Uganda Limited (CNOOC), a subsidiary of China National Offshore Oil Corporation, is an oil and gas exploration and Production Company, and the Operator of the Kingfisher Discovery Area located in Kikuube District, in the Albertine Region.

CNOOC Uganda Ltd requires the services of a suitably experienced CONTRACTOR to provide Eagle rig Transfer, including transport, assemble, and commission the Eagle Drilling Rig which is currently located in Kisanja Material Yard to the premises of Uganda Petroleum Institute Kigumba (UPIK).

SCOPE OF WORK

1. Transportation of the drilling rig and all its accessories from Kisanja Camp in Kaiso – Tonya to UPIK, before all goods are transported, all lifting points must be inspected for safety to ensure the safety of the lifting operation.
2. Drilling rig renovation that includes rust removal and repainting.
3. Preparation of the well test area which shall include the following activities:
   • Ground leveling.
   • Construction of cement road for visiting.
   • Drainage of the exhibition area.
   • Construction of shelter on the exhibition foundation for rig components.
   • Installation ramp for exhibition.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Registration on the National Supplier Database (NSD) maintained by PAU.
2. Commitment to comply with the laws and regulations in the country, including Local and National Content statutory laws.
3. Evidence of past performance, experience, and capabilities in Uganda.
4. Fully qualified and experienced personnel.

Operational Capacity:

• Operational capacity to provide the scope of services and equipment in a given package.
• Financial capacity to undertake the eventual contract.
• Compliance with the Local and National Content statutory laws and regulations of the Government of Uganda.

1. Pre-qualification documents should be exclusively received electronically via email at procurement@cnoocuganda.com.
2. Email subject must be marked “EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI) FOR THE PROVISION OF Eagle rig Transfer (RFP-CUL-LD-00703)”.

Deadline for Submission:
Fully completed applications must be submitted on or before 15:00hrs (Eastern Time) of 5th December 2024 (Closing date).

Late submissions shall be rejected.
