The Company offers a wide range of General Insurance Products on the Ugandan insurance market.
In May 2014, controlling interest in Phoenix of East Africa Assurance Company was purchased by Mauritius Union Group (Est. 1948) – a Public Listed Company, one of the largest financial services companies in Africa.

Job Summary:
Phoenix of Uganda Assurance Company Limited is seeking to recruit tied commission based insurance Risk Advisors.

The Risk Advisors will be responsible for implementation of marketing and selling initiatives and collaboration of business development strategies to build and establish a strong brand identity for ultimate sales, business growth and profitability performance.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prospect and schedule meetings with potential clients
•  Follow up on pipelines, quotations and renewals
  
• Assess client needs and advise them on suitable products, pricing and any other required information
   Ensure timely Premium Collections and receipting of Client Premiums
  
• Develop and maintain relationships with key business stakeholders
  
• Avail client servicing through timely delivery of all documentation and follow-up with customers on all unresolved issues
  
• Maintain strong company product knowledge, policy features
  
• Maintain consistency in production and Sales performance
  
• Maintain and keep appropriate records of clients
  
• Collect market information and feedback

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• A minimum of a diploma in business or related field from a reputable institution (C.O.P qualification, marketing experience and or training in sales/marketing, research will be an added advantage).
  
• Good working knowledge and application of Microsoft Office Programmes
  
• Effective communication and presentation skills with fluency in English
  
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  
• Persistence, Enthusiasm & Aggressiveness
  
• Excellence at building Contacts, networking and creating long-term relationships
  
• Good negotiation skills
  
• Visionary, Strategic & Creative
  
• Should be smart and presentable
