Job Title: Risk and Compliance Officer
Reports to: Risk and Compliance Manager
Duty Station: Head Office/Region/Branch

Job Summary
This job title entails two functions; the risk management function and compliance function. The Risk function is responsible for ensuring that the risks owners keep within the scope of their responsibilities and remain within VFU’s Board Approved Risk Appetite. It supports VISIONFUND UGANDA(VFU) by overseeing its risk management agenda including the identification, assessment, management of risk and ensure VFU business is compliant as per the required regulations of the industry. The Compliance function is responsible for establishing and maintaining a framework to ensure compliance with applicable financial institution regulatory requirements and internal compliance to policies, processes and procedures so as to protect the reputation of the institution and avoid financial loss.
