JOB DETAILS:
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Sales Representative to join our Takataka Plastics team. The primary responsibility of this role is to drive sales and business growth by promoting and selling our range of recycled plastic products, with a focus on wall tiles and furniture, to prospective clients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sustainability and community development, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in sales.

Key Responsibilities:
Client Acquisition and Management:
• Identify, target, and establish relationships with potential clients, including interior designers, architects, contractors, and property developers.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing clients, providing exceptional customer service and addressing their needs.

Product Knowledge:
• Develop a deep understanding of Takataka Plastics' product offerings (including wall tiles and furniture made from recycled materials) as well as the company’s core values, mission, and commitment to community development, youth employment, and environmental sustainability.
• Clearly communicate the unique value proposition and benefits of our products to potential clients.

Sales Strategy:
• Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence.
• Identify opportunities for growth and innovation within the target market segments.

Sales Presentations:
• Conduct engaging product presentations (both in-person and virtually) showcasing the features, benefits, and sustainability aspects of our products.
• Effectively communicate the environmental impact, circular economy principles, and community development impacts behind Takataka Plastics' products.

Negotiation and Closing:
• Lead negotiations with clients, understanding their requirements and tailoring solutions to meet their needs.
• Close sales deals and ensure that agreements are in line with company policies and profitability goals.

Market Research:
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market developments to identify potential opportunities or challenges.

Reporting:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, leads, and customer interactions in the company's CRM system.
• Provide regular reports on sales performance, market feedback, and recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in sales, preferably in the interior design, construction, or sustainable products sectors.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong presentation and negotiation abilities.
• Passion for sustainability, environmental consciousness, and community development.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as within a team.
• Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
• Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events as needed.

Compensation:
• Competitive base salary with bonus structure.
