JOB DETAILS:
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced female Bursar to join our school’s administrative team. The Bursar will be responsible for managing the financial operations of the school. Accommodation and meals will be provided as part of the compensation package. The ideal candidate should have a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business Accounting or a related field.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure efficient financial management.
• Oversee the preparation and monitoring of the school’s budget.
• Manage all financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and produce financial reports as required.
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements.
• Monitor and control expenses to ensure effective cost management.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for procurement and payment processes.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for audits.
• Manage student fee collection and ensure timely and accurate recording of payments.
• Work closely with the school’s administration to provide financial analysis and recommendations for decision-making.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information with integrity.
• Keep abreast of changes in financial regulations and best practices in accounting.

Requirements:
• Female candidate.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business Accounting or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Bursar or in a similar financial management role.
• Proficient in financial management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Sound knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• High level of integrity and professionalism.
