Job details:
Our client, a long in existence (0 & A-level) secondary school in central Uganda seeks to recruit key staff to fill the following positions: School Principal, Deputy School Principal and Director of Studies. Huram Solutions hereby invites suitably qualified candidates to fill the positions.

Title: School Principal (1 position)
Reports To: The Board
Duration: 2-year renewable

Job Purpose:
The main purpose of the job role is to ensure strategic implementation of school programs, creating and overseeing systems for effective leadership and day-to-day operations across the school including meeting multiple-reporting requirements to meet the schools’ overall strategy and mandate.

Minimum Requirements:
University Degree in Education and management or a related discipline (Master's Degree is an added advantage). 6 years’ experience in a similar educational institution or a related function with at least 3 years at managerial level. The ideal candidate should have sound values; strong financial and management experience; team-management/supervision; ability to communicate effectively; strong interpersonal skills; results-driven; ability to work independently and take initiative; and demonstrated discretion.
