Job details:
Administration Officer; Senior Bursar and two (2) Teachers Agriculture and Computer are being sought for professionally fulfilling and yet a challenging roles in Pallisa Community Senior Secondary School (PACOSS) and Alice Anume Memorial School of Nursing and Midwifery. The Administration Officer and the Senior Bursar will be answerable to the Director while the two teachers will report to the Headmaster and or his designate.

Post: Senior Bursar role for both schools

• Day to-day supervision and management of the Bursars‘ of both Schools to ensure effective collection and recovery of all School dues, fees and other costs from students and third parties, including payroll preparation, payments for utilities, PAYE and URA
• Prepare financial briefings for the Directors as and when required, including termly financial reports School operation accounts; expense accounts and balance sheets
• Prepare final accounts for internal and external audit, including attending audit meetings
• Promote ways of improving financial efficiency, including the introduction, where appropriate, of improvements to the collection of School dues, fees and related charges.

Requirements for the Post:

• A good Degree in Accounting and or Advanced Diploma in Accounting with ACA/FCA with minimum of five (5) years‘ of experience. Experience in a similar position within an educational environment will be an added advantage.
