Interaid Uganda Limited (IAU) is a nongovernmental humanitarian national organization established in 1988, and duly registered with the N60 Board and NGO Forum. lAU is involved in programs geared towards the protection and improvement of lives of disadvantaged people living in urban and rural areas in Uganda in the Great Lakes Region. lnteraid Uganda is focused on its thematic areas of Rights Protection, Education, Livelihood & Food Security, Health (HlV&AlDS; Malaria; Maternal and Reproductive Health), Water, Sanitation & Hygiene (WASH), Environment and Disaster Management and good Management and Governance systems. |nteraid is inviting potential and interested candidates to fill the following positions.

JOB TITLE: Senior Community Services Officer
NO OF POSTS: 2
REPORTS TO: Program Manager
DUTY STATION: Kampala Head Office

Role Summary
The Senior Protection Community Services Officer will primarily provide lead in planning, coordination and implementation of all project activities in the community services sector.

Person Specification

• A suitable candidate for this position should poses a degree in Social Work and Social Administration, Social Sciences, Education, Lower equivalent and/or training in Project Planning and Management. ,
•  Master's degree or a Post Graduate Diploma in Project Planning and Management, Development Management, Humanitarian Management, Public Administration, Disaster Management or relevant field is an added advantage '
• A minimum of 5 years‘ experience in implementing multi-sectorial programs in socio-economic development, humanitarian and disaster emergency sectors among others at a management level.
• Proven ability in meeting strict donor reporting deadlines and any other requirements
• Proven report writing, team and project management experiences and skills
• Strong demonstrated analytical, strategic thinking, advocacy and decision making.
• Good working knowledge of MS Word, MS EXCEL MS Power point and MS Project
