JOB DETAILS:
Senior Data Engineer

Responsibilities
• Responsible for the implementation of the company’s management regulations and QHSE system on site, and archiving QHSE related records；
• Responsible for on-site personnel (including service providers) and equipment management, and maintain good communication with company of party A and the third party on site；
• Responsible for organizing equipment mobilization preparation before operation, completing the mobilization list, implementing on-site installation, debugging/maintenance, submitting repair, maintenance and supplementary plans of the whole set of equipment when equipment demobilization, and completing the demobilization list；
• Responsible for troubleshooting on-site equipment and submit fault report. If the fault cannot be solved within half an hour, report to the base and seek technical support. Report to project manager any problems found during the use of equipment and consumables；
• Responsible for site material and spare parts management, timely and reasonable material demand; Strictly implement the “old for new” provisions of spare parts, pack the returned equipment as necessary；
• Responsible for checking the positive pressure explosion-proof certificate, sling certificate, respirator certificate and other documents of the workshop and feeding back to the base；
• Ensure that customer information, geological samples and other packaging conditions meet transportation requirements, submit a complete list, and keep handover records。;
• Strictly implement the 《mudlogging Standard Working Procedure》, closely monitor the site well kick, well loss, blowout, stuck drill, drilling tool leakage, oil and gas show, H2S and other engineering geological anomalies, timely report and mark, data collection；
• Management of fire and explosion prevention and chemicals；
• Responsible for on-site inspection, implementation of shift change system, and keeping records；
• Responsible for holding site safety weekly meeting, keeping records and returning them. In case of personal injury, major engineering/geological accident or other safety accident, report to the base immediately；
• Responsible for the on-site training and mentoring of employees, as well as evaluation and appraisal；
• Responsible for completing the well completion report on time, and responsible for the quality of the submitted report;
• Submit copies of work certificate and customer evaluation report to the locality before the first day of each month, and submit the original as soon as possible；
• Attend the summary and communication meeting and weekly meeting organized by the company and the operation line on time;
• Actively put forward rationalization suggestions and complete other tasks assigned by the company.

Requirements
• Junior College’s degree or above;
• Exploration technology and engineering, resource exploration engineering, petroleum engineering, geology and other related majors;
• At least 10 years of working experience of mudlogging and at least 6 years of experience as Data Engineer. Proficient in GeoNext-4 mudlogging system;
• Understand company management policy and relevant working knowledge;
• Proficient in Chinese and English, able to communicate with headquarters and related departments fluently;
• Computer and document processing skills required for the job;
• Have strong coordination ability, execution ability, communication ability, language expression ability and writing level;
• Familiar with the relevant management system implemented by this position;
• Proficient in GeoNext-4 mudlogging system and rich experience of mudlogging operation;
• Age under 50;
• Outstanding planning and organization skills;
• Proficient in Chinese and English.
