Kati is a microfinance company operating in Lira and Pader and Agago districts with a strong social mission, started in 2012.

KATI provides unique packages of business training, mentoring and access to competitive start-up/ business enhancement loans for young entrepreneurs aged 18-35 years in northern Uganda with the aim to reduce youth unemployment by stimulating a culture of transformative entrepreneurship. KATI is looking for the following team members to support its challenge to cut costs, strengthen its group and individual loan portfolio, and achieve profitability within the next 18 months:

Title: Senior Finance and Administration Officer (SFAO)
The SFAO will have primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all finance and administrative-related activities of the company. This will include direct responsibility for accounting, finance, forecasting, property management, procurement, partnership relationships and compliance. The successful person will have a good understanding of credit management, accounting software packages, for profit fund management (budgeting processes and internal control), organisation investment planning and entrepreneurship. The right candidate will have BSC in Accounting and Finance, BBA accounting option. CPA highly desirable.
