Senior Tax Advisors
The suitably qualified candidates should have a good understanding of tax. They will anticipate and identify technical issues and provide appropriate solutions. In addition, they should have at least work experience of 4 years with a reputable Tax Service provider.

Responsibilities
• Possess a full understanding of taxation principles and the Ugandan tax environment, understand the objectives of tax compliance, advisory and audit and their role in the process.
• Stay abreast of general business and economic developments and apply their understanding of the client’s business and industry to identify areas of tax compliance, advisory and audit significance.
• Develop the tax compliance and audit approach plan and prepare audit programs for substantive procedures for significant accounts.
• Draft client advice on specific identified issues on transactions that happened in the past or expected to happen in the future.

• Support the tax team in dealing with people related issues including expatriate tax issues and immigration issues, among others.
• Interact with client personnel and demonstrate commitment to continually improve our clients’ satisfaction.
• Foster teamwork by maintaining cooperative relationships with the client engagement teams, contributing to a work environment that leads to high morale, productivity and open communication.

Academic qualifications/experience
• First-class or Second-class Upper Bachelor’s from a recognized university.
• Full qualification in ACCA or CPA.
• 4 years’ experience working as a Tax Accountant/Auditor.
• Good organizational and relationship building skills.
• Proactive and delivery focused, with the ability to be creative and bring new ideas to the role and function and positive attitude with a drive to excel.
• Ability to work in a team.
